LEED Accredited Professional

Feb 1, 2014

KEPCO+ is pleased to announce that Catherine Hutton, our Director of Business Development, is now a LEED Accredited Professional with a Building Design and Construction specialty. According to the U.S. Green Building Council, "A LEED professional credential signifies that you are a leader in the field and an active participant in the green building movement who contributes expertise to the design, construction, operations and maintenance of buildings and neighborhoods that save energy, use fewer resources, reduce pollution, and contribute to healthier environments for their occupants and the community."

This intensive certification program requires extensive studying culminating in the completion of a four hour test. LEED professionals must complete 30 continuing education hours every 2 years to maintain their credentials.

Congratulations Catherine! Our team's continued education on green building principles will better prepare us to meet the needs of our clients in our pursuit to construct high-quality facades that are both efficient and environmentally friendly.
