Public Safety Building

The stringent blast-proof criteria and thermal mass requirements for the exterior skin of this project were reviewed with the Architect while the building was in the design process. Additionally, several options were presented for the handset portions of the building, and a rainscreen system with a terra cotta tile was selected due to its ability to handle significant seismic movement without requiring large, visible movement joints. KEPCO+ installed both the interior and exterior handset portions of the project.
